Community Driven Leadership. Student Focused Results.
About Me.
Christopher Kiraly is a dedicated parent, community leader, and candidate for the Weld RE-4 School Board. A Windsor resident since 2020, Chris and his wife, Brooke, are raising two young children who attend local schools, making him deeply invested in the district’s future. He currently serves on the Orchard Hill Elementary PTA, the School Accountability Committee, and the District Accountability Committee, where he works to ensure transparency, fiscal responsibility, and strong support for teachers and staff. Chris also brings governance experience from his roles on the RainDance Neighborhood Association Board and RainDance Metro District, giving him a broad understanding of how thriving schools strengthen thriving communities. As a full-time parent, Chris is committed to advocating for safe, high-quality education that puts students first.

What I Stand For.
More Support for Teachers and Staff
Our educators are the backbone of Weld RE-4. Their dedication, creativity, and care shape the future of our children every day. While it’s important to celebrate them during Teacher Appreciation Week, our support must be ongoing and meaningful.
As a board member, I will:
• Advocate for competitive pay and benefits
• Support manageable class sizes
• Champion a culture of collaboration and respect
• Promote ongoing professional development
When we invest in teachers, paraprofessionals, counselors, bus drivers, and custodial staff, we invest in better outcomes for all students.
Transparency & Community Accountability
Families deserve a seat at the table and a clear understanding of what’s being discussed. Community trust is built when decisions are made openly, with ample opportunity for input.
I will work to:
• Ensure clear, consistent communication from the board and district leadership
• Make board agendas, summaries, and decisions easy to access—no digging required
• Encourage public input before decisions are made
• Foster a culture of transparency, respect, and shared responsibility
Accountability means owning our decisions, learning from our mistakes, and always working toward solutions together.
Safe, Inclusive, High-Quality Education
Every student should walk into school feeling safe, welcomed, and inspired. Our schools must provide both academic excellence and emotional support to help students thrive.
I will advocate for:
• Strong mental health resources and special education services
• Inclusive school environments where every student feels seen and supported
• A modern, relevant curriculum and up-to-date technology
• Highly qualified educators in every classroom
• Comprehensive safety policies that address physical and emotional well-being
A safe and supportive learning environment is the foundation for success.
Responsible, Student-Centered Budgeting
Our district’s budget is a reflection of our values. Every dollar should support student learning, teacher success, and long-term sustainability.
I will fight for:
• Budgets that are clear, accessible, and community-friendly
• Strategic financial planning that prioritizes equity and excellence
• Efficient use of funds that strengthens classrooms and supports staff
• Transparent reporting to keep taxpayers informed and engaged
Budgeting isn’t just about balancing numbers. It’s about investing wisely in our future.
